Everyone’s favorite Heartbreak Red is here. Red-san here. Yoo-hoo. ‘S been a while~

Though I might say that I only show up once a year, I finally made my debut on the big screen in June of last year.

Did y’all check out my super-cool self~? Mmhmm~...

Last time, I showed up on the pre-movie video that got changed out every week, but I’ve got lots of ambition. I was like, someday, I wanna become the protagonist, y’know?

If all your calls for me, filled with love, are loud enough, then nothing’s impossible for me! Possibly! ...Maybe.

So with that being said, I hope you’ll keep supporting meee~

A-nee-ways~. This radio will be the annual Heartbreak Postbox, which we hold on X (Twitter). But this year, we’re doing this special program version as a radio! This is an experimental project.

Well, then. Let’s head into our first request~

This is a letter from Radio Name Company Employee Green.

“Hello there, Red-san.”

Ah, hi there.

“Today is April 1st, so though it is April Fool’s, a day when Red-san makes a wonderful showing in working hard, it’s also a day for newly working adults to have their welcoming ceremony, or for students to be waiting for their entrance or graduation ceremonies approaching in a few days. Senior employees and new employees join, and they have new classes or stations at work. There are many people settling into their new environments. Please encourage everyone who’s been feeling anxious about those aforementioned new lifestyles!”

Ooh... Now that’s Company Employee Green for you. You’re, like, representing everyone, aren’t you?

Our... er, wait—Gravi’s Haru-san is the same way. Glasses-wearing, green-associated guys sure are diligent people. Thanks for all the help, seriously!

Well, well, then. New lifestyles, you were saying?

First things first. To all the newly working adults and newly enrolled students, you have my congratulations~ And even if you’re not a newbie, you’ve yet again reached a new fiscal year. Congrats to you.

You’ve probably got stuff like dealing with your leftover work from spring break, or having to file your final income tax reports? Each and every one of you has overcome that sort of thing, mm. It’s just, the expression on your faces are different now. Mmhmm. Yeah, now that’s what I call legit.

Starting a new lifestyle and something new entirely sometimes requires a bit of courage. It’s like the very insides of your heart are suffering through a little difficulty.

But! You’ll be fine~

You know that saying? “In the middle of difficulty lies opportunity.”

While you feel anxiety from a tough situation, amid all the confusion and turmoil, try to incorporate thinking something fun into it. Won’t it feel sorta special then?

Like... trying a different haistyle or outfit you’ve always wanted to try out.

If it makes you feel bashful to do something that’s too obvious, I think it’d be fine for you to start small, like trying a new piece of stationery. That way, you put yourself in higher spirits, and let’s all do our best with our new lifestyles at our own individual paces.

It’s okay for you to fail~

The fact that you’ve only just gotten started means that there are tons of chances for you to make them back up. Let’s take it easy!

Um, whoa... *chuckles* That’s an unsettling name.

“Red-san, I’m in a slump. I’m working on composing right now, but I can’t come up with any good phrases. I’m grasping at straws, so I’ve sent in a message in hopes that you might help. What could I possibly do?” *chuckles*

...I can think of, like, two Purples who’d send in this type of letter...

I also... Er, wait. Someone I know really well also draws a 4-panel manga, so...

It might be somewhat different from your composing, but I... he might understand how you feel. Ever so slightly.

When you can’t really feel an idea come to mind, it makes you go, “Grrr!” and all frustrated. When that happens, I’m sure the sprouts of the ideas are really doing their best to poke their heads out from the ground. Like, “Get me out! Get me out!!”

If you think, “I must suck for not being able to get those ideas out,” or worry your head over it constantly during those times, you’re basically burying those ideas in the ground with rocks with your own two hands.

Which is why! If you feel like you’re stuck in a rut, well... I know it’d be hard to do so, but do the opposite thing. And relax.

Go for a walk, do some sunbathing, drink your favorite drink, watch something funny... Ah, or sleep? And then, Purple-san, you can feed those sprouts some nutrients.

Then, one day, the stems of those sprouts might just pop their heads out without any prior notice, right?

That’s just what I think. Let’s do our best to rearrange our thoughts in a way that puts them in a fun way, as best we can.

All righty then. Let’s head onto the next one.

*chuckling* “My hay fever’s the worst. Do something about it.”

...This is a little too sloppy for a letter, Aoi...

I want you to send in this letter like it’s actually requesting me for something, you know... *laughing* But, well, thanks for helping me with Tsukino Love Letters when I was struggling with it.

Well, uh, yeah... Hay fever, huh~?

You’re not the only one who goes through it. Haru-san’s also a victim. There’s a lot of guys who suffer from it, really.

Let’s all get along! I flash a peace sign to show I want to be a piece of the peace!

That’s undoubtedly the ideal, isn’t it?

Unfortunately, reality isn’t that kind. It’s because we have all sorts of ways of thinking that there are definitely people we simply cannot get on the same wavelength as.

Still, that just goes to show, because there are numerous people with numerous different ways of thinking, we make up for each other.

Red-san can’t help but think, the world becomes a little better? More interesting?

I-it sounds like I’ve gone off on my own tangent, but basically, what I wanna say here, is if you’re concerned about your hay fever, there are also people for you that you simply can’t reconcile with, right? But you absolutely have to still put up with them. Dealing with your hay fever is essentially, like, a preliminary rehearsal to getting to coexist with them. Think of it as going through training. How about doing your best to put up with it?

To those of you who feel their noses getting itchy when spring rolls around and don’t feel like they can put up with it, you can say stuff like, “Master, the affliction is doling me a heavy blow~” or something.

See, there are tons of other people training, going through the same hardship. Let’s do our best, shall we?

Huh? “Red-san, how about you train as well?”

Uhh... Huh. *laughs* I’ll pass on that.

You know, there’s someone that I super-duper-duper absolutely lovely-love? I’ve been trying to convey my passionate affections to them for years upon years, but it feels like my efforts are being wasted.

I feel ZERO sensation that my feelings are getting through to them. Is this what they call keeping me in tantalizing suspense? Aah! I understand. This is them playing the tease, isn’t it? Fufufu. Hajime, you get so bashful so easily~

...And that’s how my dream went.

That’s how much it feels like my efforts aren’t resonating with them. Whatever shall I do?

I think Demon Lord, the Mutsuki Superstan’s feelings are definitely getting through to that person. They’re clearly getting through to them. Please keep that in mind and understand that is the case, because all sorts of things are going about as they should, peacefully as can be.

Let’s assume there is a listener worried about a similar issue.

You’re trying to appeal to a person you REALLY love by showing off how much you absolutely adore them, but you feel like the message isn’t coming across in the slightest.

The standard advice toward you would be, “If pushing doesn’t work, then try pulling.” That’s what usually comes up, I feel.

But even if you were to choose either of them, Red-san wants you to treasure your own feelings most. If you pull back and feel like you’ll regret it, I think it’s 100% fine for you to not pull back, like at all. It’s also fine to strategize in a way that makes you cool and aloof, but you need to prioritize your hot, passionate feelings and do your best with your love.

Aah, but... “Oh me, oh my. I think I might be bothering the subject of my affections this way?” “I really do think that the people around me think I’m offputting~”

Treasure your feelings just as much as the the other person’s feelings and those of the people around you. Doing that... you’re providing total coverage for your good manners and etiquette as an adult. That’s what I think, mhm?
