Summary – Aoi and Yoru have been chosen to be image models for a certain fashion brand. It is a large-scale project which gathers up people who do great work in their respective vectors in the industry. Although bewildered, the two take the offer, and their brand new challenge begins!

Stage “Kuchinashi no Hana” Overview

 

Summary – The university student Sei has an instructor of Japanese dance for a grandmother. Though he endures rigorous training as the successor, he feels embarrassment at the feminine image that Japanese dance holds, so he hid such a fact from his friends.

One day, his grandmother suddenly passes away. Sei has lost his goal, but the senior disciple Minato, as well as those in his surroundings, support him. Trusting that his grandmother’s teachings continue to live on inside him, he takes up dancing one more, heading toward his dreams.

 

Main Characters –

Sei (Played by Satsuki Aoi): A young man born to the head family in Japanese dance. Is called Sei-chan.

Minato (Played by Nagatsuki Yoru): Learning under Sei’s grandmother. A young man, a disciple who is Sei’s senior.

 

1. Drama – “cute & cool”

 

Aoi: Yoru and I... will be the image models for a fashion brand?

 

Kurotsuki: Yeah. We received a pretty vehement offer from the other party that they absolutely had to get you two.

...Ahaha! What’s with your faces? You’re worried stiff! They’ve handed me the documents summarizing the offer, so could you just give it a quick look-through first?

It started off with a designer duo, both of whom originally worked in a different field. The clothes, which they made as nothing more than a hobby, took off on social media. *chuckling* It’s a brand with a very modern background to it.

They only have one physical shop, and their main method of sales is through online shopping. Their advertisement and promotion skills are great, so the two of you might end up being displayed on the sign, like the one Yoru saw.

 

Yoru: That... sounds... ...Ngh, when you put it that way, I feel nervous.

 

Kurotsuki: Wahaha! Sorry, sorry. It’s not that I want to pressure you or anything.

The concept they want to develop for their new series in the upcoming season is on the second page of the documents.

 

Aoi: Hm... “Our goal is Cute & Cool – We don’t want to make a distinction among genders, nor do we want to be conscious of people’s ages. It will be something with a vast reach, which anyone and everyone can pull off...”

Even when the clothes give off slightly strange silhouettes, they don’t look bizarre at all. They have a high-quality finish.

Kurotsuki: Yeah. It’s because of the stageplay Kuchinashi no Hana, which you two starred in last year. The stage is set on the head of family who started off a Japanese dance style. Aoi played the instructor’s grandson, and Yoru played the senior disciple, right?

 

Aoi: I got the chance to closely practice Japanese dance, and it was a lot of work... but the stage allowed me to gain many things.

Yoru: We’ve done dance until now, but there are completely different manners of production and the like in Japanese dance, so we suffered through days of muscle pain~

Aoi: *chuckling* During the first week, our knees felt like they would give way after rehearsal, huh?

 

Yoru: *laughs* Yeah, exactly! Role-wise, I had to give off the air of being more accustomed to dancing, compared to Aoi’s. Because of that, I had to work soooo hard for it.

 

Aoi: Ahaha... I really suffered, too. The dance scenes were a given, but the stage had daily life scenes where I played an average, normal guy. Yet there are a lot of feminine moves when I’m dancing, so I had to perform gracefully... Wait. Ah.

 

Yoru: Could it be...?

 

Kurotsuki: Yeah. You know how it was streamed online at the end of the year? The other party checked it out. In short, they thought that your acting then was perfect for the concept!

 

Aoi, Yoru: Ahh...!
