Shiki: Entry number one, Takamura Shiki!!!

Make no mistake, I’m great at holding my alcohol, but when I was young, there was quite the trend to think “It’s impressive when guys are good at holding their liquor.” Looking back on it now, it was very cringe. Anyway, that tendency swept me up entirely, and I honestly put on way too many airs.

Tsubasa: True, true. (laughing) Though in reality, it’s just natural-born constitution.

Eichi: There was that tendency to think whoever drank a lot of nihonshu or could drink a lot of tequila was cool, or impressive... (；・∀・)

...But in reality, it’s not much different from the way elementary- and junior high schoolers admire delinquents... (wry laugh)

Shu: So what was your screwup, Shiki?

 

Shiki: I went to a drinking party that I don’t remember getting back home from.

 

Tsubasa: Ah—Sorry!!!! I’ve done that before too!!!!

Eichi: Me too!!!!!

Eichi: A gaze as cold as absolute zero, right at the start of the new year!!!

Ah, but it’s not like I woke up to see a complete stranger next to me or anything!!

Tsubasa: Y-yeah, same here! I only let myself do that if I had friends there that made me think, “I’m fine if I’m with this guy!”

Shiki: Anyway, before I realize anything, I’m sleeping on my bed, in my room. I admire myself briefly, thinking that my homing instinct is incredible...

Tsubasa & Eichi: I knooow~!!!

Tsubasa: And then afterwards, you’re like, “Wait. Did I pay?” Or, “Did I cause trouble to anyone?” And you start worrying.

Eichi: Exactly!!

 

Shu: ...

 

Tsubasa: I don’t do it now, understand!?!? I’ve never done it even once since I debuted, all right!??!?

Eichi: Neither did I!!!

Shiki: For me, it was once I became a company employee.

 

Shu: Obviously.

Everyone: Yes, sir.

 

Shiki: Also... There’s the time I couldn’t make it in time for the last train of the day, and for some reason, I carried my shoes and walked home on my bare feet from Mejiro to Ikebukuro.

Eichi: Whaaat... (laughing)

Shiki: It was summer.

I apparently thought it was too hot, so I took my shoes off.

And while holding my shoes in my hand, I felt the cool asphalt underneath my feet. I treaded on the ground until I got to Ikebukuro. I slept in an Ikebukuro internet café until the sun was high in the sky.

Tsubasa: Not a business hotel?

Shiki: If anyone had common sense, they’d enter a hotel. However, you can never understand what a drunk is thinking. Anyway, I wandered around until my eyes settled on an internet café, which I entered.

Tsubasa: Shiki in an internet café, huh~. I feel like you suit it... but at the same time, you don’t... (laughing)

Eichi: Why were you in Mejiro in the first place?

Tsubasa: Ah, true. There aren’t many bars in that area, are there? Also, didn’t the soles of your feet hurt?

Shiki: I wanted to return to the dorms... I originally meant to get off at Shibuya, but it seems that I overslept and for some reason got off at Mejiro. The soles of my feet were surprisingly fine. Though they were horribly blackened.

 

Shu: ......

Eichi: But the day after you’ve drunk so badly you’ve lost your memory, there comes the hellish pain, what we in the business call a “hangover”... (wry laugh)

New adults in particular shouldn’t be used to drinking in the first place, and don’t push yourself to drink more than your constitution allows! Seriously! Alcohol’s only fun when you and your surroundings are enjoying yourselves ♪

Shu: And those of you who can’t drink, like me, can think of the drunks as entertainment while you sip your oolong tea in hand.

Eichi: So we were your source of entertainment~ (laughs)

 

Shiki: Swallow alcohol, but don’t let alcohol swallow you up.

Adult mistakes should only be done in moderation!!!
